I receive a lot of questions about the anti-cardiolipin antibody, which is an anti-phospholipid antibody. Another anti-phospholipid is known as the lupus anticoagulant. The lupus anticoagulant, just for the record, is not seen only in lupus, and promotes clotting rather than anticoagulation.
